ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Miki Sekido.
I was born and raised in Osaka in 1979.
After I graduated from Hokkaido University, I went to
the Republic of the Marshall Islands as a volunteer teaching agriculture to high school students there.
I grew many vegetables and taught locals and students how to cook various Japanese dishes, which were loved by the people living there.
This experience gave me the inspiration to share my knowledge of Japanese cooking to people all over the world.
As I am also a dietician, so I can tell you not only how to cook "Washoku" but also how great Washoku is from a nutritional viewpoint!
